Keeping it in the family
The name
Quite a while back now I gained the nickname T-Dawg at work. Ya see I'm a Northerner who moved down South at the age of 18 but never lost those Northern traits of being outspoken, warm and keen to make friends. My new office name went from Tracy to T-Dawg - much to the amusement of my kids. So when this small passion for making fleeces for my two Daxies turned into a small business I had no doubts on the name! And in 2020 among all the challenges we've all faced T-Dawg was born. I'm so proud of it and extremely happy to be able to share it with you.

​The team
After months of making fleeces for my dogs, Woody and Indy, and friends dogs my daughter suggested I should start selling them. Then that idea took hold and I made the leap! My daughter Emily supports me in making the business a success so while I set the pricing, do the fabric sourcing, the sewing, and the pattern cutting she runs the website, designs the brand and likely is the person replying to your inquiries. So now were not only mother and daughter, and best friends - we're also colleagues!
